1. HISTORICAL VALENCIA

This visit on foot focuses on Valencia´s attractive old quarter and we see the most representative squares of the city such as Plaza of the Virgen and Plaza of the Reina. We visit the interior of the cathedral where we can marvel at paintings by Goya, the Holy Grail and superb Renaissance frescoes.

We visit the Modernist-style Central Market (one of the largest and most beautiful food markets in Europe) and the gothic guild hall known as Lonja de los Mercaderes declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

2. CITY OF ARTS & SCIENCES

This visit on foot focuses at the end of the old Turia riverbed and with a surface area of some 350,000 m2, the City of Arts and Sciences is a recreational-cultural place that surprises with its architecture and its immense capacity to entertain, teach and excite. It has become one of the city's main cultural centres.

Designed by Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava and started in July 1996, the City of Arts and Sciences is an impressive example of modern architecture. The "city" is made up of six buildings which extends along an axis of two kilometers and has a surface of 350.000 m2.

  • L'Umbracle — Walkway and Garden.
  • El Museu Príncipe Felipe — Science museum.
  • Ágora — A versatile space for public events.
  • Oceanografic —oceanographic park.

3. ALBUFERA NATURAL PARK

Guided visit to the nature reserve known as Parque Natural de la Albufera, which is only 15 km South of Valencia.

The natural reserve comprises marshlands, woodlands, dunes, and a lake. It has a high ecological value, and in it there are species in danger of extinction. The marshlands contain some of the biggest rice fields in Spain, while the lake, La Albufera, is a favorite stopover for migratory birds.

Drive on board the bus to La Albufera from Palacio de Congresos; we arrive at the village of El Palmar, where we board our boats for our cruise on the placid lake (45 min approx) and visit a barrack (the traditional dwelling of the former fishermen and farmers of the area). After that, we will return to Palacio de Congresos.

4. BIKE TOUR

A bike tour is the most original way to discover Valencia, its streets, squares, monuments and most important historical sites.

The tour is a pleasant guided bike ride around Valencia. The ride takes in the Turia gardens, the historic old quarter and the futuristic science and culture complex known as City of Arts and Sciences and could end in the America´s Cup Port or anywhere in the city.

The tour is conducted through parks and gardens and along bike paths and pedestrian streets making it a safe and easy option.

5. CATAMARAN SUNSET-VALENCIA (Fully booked)

Feel privileged and enjoy the views of the Marina and the captivating beaches of Valencia.
